Situated in the stunning riverside setting of Thames Valley Park, we are a homely, family-run nursery providing a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 to develop and grow whilst having fun.
Our large enclosed outdoor play area, riverside location and nature reserve on our doorstep ensure the children have plenty of opportunity for outdoor play, exercise and forest school activities.
At Chalkhouse we recognise the impact that being outdoors has on a child’s social, emotional and physical development and this is at the heart of everything we do.
For all enquiries please email [email protected] and we will get back to you within 24 hours – thank you!

Our Famly app and developmental reporting system keeps you updated on your child’s development through photos, videos and audio collections. The app also allows our team to track, report and assess development and feed-back to parents.
A sensory music class with an extra language. Multi-award winning BilinguaSing visit us once a week and deliver a session each to our babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Our rooms and gardens provide safe, stimulating, educational and fun environments for all children aged 0-5.
We have an experienced on-site chef providing nutritionally balanced, homely meals that our little ones love to eat. We regularly ask children and parents for their input to ensure our meals remain interesting and appealing.
We provide qualified, experienced team members who are regularly supervised and offered up-to-date training to ensure our little ones get the best possible experience. As we work regularly on a higher staff-to-child ratio, this allows us to support all the children as individuals.
